Welcome to my blog! I am Nan, the human component of this blog. B.A.G.S. (a.k.a. AINE) is my pug. This blog will notate musings, muses and British inspired goodies with an American twist. I own The Portobello Road Shoppe located at theportobellord.etsy.com. My specialties are: sewing, stitching, paper crafting and felting. Oh, and the occasional nummy brownies.
Capturing Aine while we watched Nature's CoyWolf special. Wondering what wild or ferrel pugs would look like? I am thinking there is no such thing because Pugs couldn't survive without their humans. IE Servants.
My little girl - Aine - cracks me up on a continued basis. I really wish I had a webcam so that I can see what she does during the day when I am not home. People purposely walk VERY slowly by my house to see her little head pop up from the window and jump up and down. It is hysterical.
She has free reign of the house during the day and I would love to get a brother or sister for Aine so she can play all day. However, I just don't know if it should be a boy or a girl. I would love it if my next pug could be black. That would be so much fun.
Here are some her funniest moments:

*waves*. Sorry I have been such a bad blogger. I have been busy with work and studying so not much fun going on. I started my New Years in the ER with the nerovirus- extremely bad stomach flu that i don't wish on anyone. I have had to be forced to take care of myself which is really hard todo- especially when you are in pain. The whole thing was scary so it has kinda woke me up a little. In regards to my new years resolutions from 2013 I only lost 10 pounds and I am still retaking the. Bridge test. I was suppose to take it this Saturday but um yea- don't think so. Tomorrow will be a sick day- something I rarely if ever take.
Anyways enough about me- here is my Aine. ;). Xoxo Nan
My life has been all work and studying for my certification. I have not had any opportunity to needle felt or celebrate Prince George's christening! That is how busy my life has been. I know. What is up with that?
This is what keeps me going until I pass this dang thing. 1) Aine. She finally got a bath poor thing.
2) Friends and family
Keep those fingers crossed -I am sick of studying!
I am excited to use all the bits and bobs that I still have left over. I have to get way caught up- I mean I am starting seven months into the year. I believe I will do the weeks like this: Aine, crafted, accomplished, ideas and *gulp* diet.
