So blogpost ate yesterday's post so we are getting a twofer today.
The whole post was about wishing a very late new year and my belated telling of how wonderful my Tea outing with my BESTIE Mo at The Drake in Chicago went.
First omg moment. My car being put in a car elevator at The Drake parking garage. Yes. A car elevator. We always thought the only one of those existed at the Jewelers building on 33 N Wacker.

(Car going up!)
Next -how gorgeous The Drake was. We had angels on high...

And a tree that basically went to the ceiling.

And gingerbread villages that mysteriously got deleted from my phone alone with giant nutcrackers.

But really the best time was had with me and Mo wearing our new hats and eating out bespoke tea and chatting up a storm. We were so stuffed, we didn't eat dessert.

But no trip to chi-town wouldn't be complete without a visit to The Paper Doll and a visit with Maude, co-owner of said wonderful paper store. I miss Mo so much!
I seriously had a much deserved vacation and I can't believe the two weeks are up. Between puggy watching, Sherlock/ Dr Who/Downton Abbey watching and a ridiculous amount of sleep and cookies, I am just now realizing that sadly, I have to go to work tomorrow! :(
Luckily I don't have to wear these.

Can you believe that the moon boots are back?! Ack!
Again Happy New Year everyone!
Xoxo Nan
