Loo hoo yay!

Yes Ms Aine- don't be afraid ... We are almost done with our upstairs loo! Yahhhoooooo! However, we should rename said loo to something more French Provincial because there has been a revelolution of decorating proportions! I can't wait to debut it tomorrow! Hence you all must satisfy yourselves with a wee teaser! Myself and Ms Aine had a great weekend even though it started out not so fun Aine's Gran. I took Mom/Gran to the Chiro on Friday and than again on Saturday at 5:30 am(!). . Thank God she is feeling betters! Aine and I went on a very fun play date with Bubba the pug and Max and Foster- definately more pictures to come on that front. The very long Saturday was capped off with a great dinner at the UBER GOOD GERMAN PLACE. Num. We also had a very fun and productive craft weekend and making curiousities for my Etsy shop. I am quite happy about the new release. I have also been setting up my shipping station too. I am planning on having the Grand Opening of The Portobello Road Shoppe on or before my Birthday June 4!*squeee* Btw I not only share my Bday with my first crush -Parker Stevenson- but Mad King George III! Lol. It is almost 1am so we most go forth to the land of nod.

#1 job I could never do!

....And that is interior designer! Picking out lights is hard ya all! I picked two and I am still deciding if I like them. I think they will stay because I can't look at another light! I also got the fixtures(Anthro hooks, yep no bars mom!), facet(matches the shower) and paint! All for this is needed for deadline day Tuesday-yeeehaw! So help me pick out which blue I want -- this is so hard ya all! I like them all. Ugh

For reals, I want to sleep on the floor because it is so cool. I invision so many Alice in Wonderland type creative dreams.    Here it is  ALICE STYLE. Now i just have to get the facet and light fixtures.

As you can see, Aine is not pleased that HER room is being overtaken by a vanity and a GASP - Toilet!

Proof positive

....that I am no Tiger Woods! Yesterday, we had a team building meeting at a local golf course. Of course, the ladies did putt-putt golf and the guys did real golf. Sorry take that back, there was one lady on our team that kicked the CPO's arse! LOL it was so funny - we were like Carol! Represent! LOL But let me tell ya I love these type of team buildimg outings instead of the days of old where we did high ropes course(not kidding! You were 40 feet up in the air!), whirleyball or windycity playhouse. This time was perfect- lots of bonding time, great food, silly pictures(sorry this was the only one I took), realizing how amazing anyone is that REALLY knows how to golf. I mean I barely made it through minature golf! All in all a great time! It may even become a monthly event. So you know what that means? I may have to take golf lessons! Noooooo!

Freddie Kruger is in town

So what do I see when I stroll on over to my favorite food addiction? *cough*M&M blizzard at DQ*cough* The invasion of the movie trucks! Looks like they are filming a Freddy Kruger movie at Hershey High School- I must get the goods from my neice who goes there. The pictures are not the best but they are filing the outside there and using the inside of Elk Grove HS. Weird, I am just amazed that Hollywood found us! Btw- I am currently on the train posting this via pinkie typepad app from iPhone! Got to love technology!! Btw II- sub floor is in! Btw III- please help a girl out! What does one wear to a minature golf outing with work people who ate golfing? So.don't.know. Ack! Hugs alllll! Nan

Best mail everrrrr. Hancocks of Puducah has a catalog ya all! 167 pages of FABRIC beautifully photographed all sorted by color. Also included are some of sweetest Halloween and Christmas fabric! And it is only MAY. OH MAN. do you think my sewing machine could be carried on the plane? I best not. Speaking of my vacation is in about a 60 or so days! And what is even better? Typepad has an iPhone app! Omg does this help my mojo! Off to figure out what fabric needs to purchased!

remodeling is hard YA'ALL!

We have been uber busy with picking out new tile, taking a new class, crafting when we can and tryin to keep the dustbunnies and other fun byproducts of a bathroom construction at bay! Now trying to decide lighting and *just what to do on one side of a nakers wall? Oh man is it hard ya'all! But I can say...."> Hee... I am still reading the PDFs! I have so much more to do with my blog - but I love the blinky! Hugs all and will talk soon! Nan
