What an amazing weekend!!!

Well I may be still in NashVegas due to a flight cancelations *gerr* but I seriously had a blast this weekend! The flight is what I came in on (isn't it fun my own private jet it felt like!). The shrumie was my pin cushion. I finally met the sweet sweet Ravenea(Michelle) and of course I had to get a picture with the fabulous Martha! I have loads more, but first I got to get home. My flight leaves in 3.5 hours. I may just head out way early because I rather eat the food at the airport rather than the holiday inn! Hugs!

Siscon or bust!

One more day before SISiversary2! I have been a busy bee creating roomie gifts, a yearbook (as in I actually created a book by binding it in gaffer tape )and making atc's! I still have to do my door sign and um more importantly ... PACK!!! This is most likely the first vacation where I may truely get to have a real crafty vacation! Yea! Currently I am figuring out how to pack with carryons. That means major streamlining. I have never traveled with TSA restrictions so I am a nervous nelly! So far my Japanese needles will be staying home and the vast majority of scrappy supplies. I don't I have planned this much before in my life! Lol. I will update soon ! Time to pack Aine's bag and purple monster ;) Nan and Aine

In all seriousness, we have been prepping for our collective vacations. She, to Amazing Dave the Dog Sitter, I, to TENN! WOOT!  I will be there for 4 days and than back home for a week off with my family. My sister is coming in for the 4th so this will be muy fun.   I have loads of crafty projects I am itchin' to get my hands on. In fact this is propably the first time EVER that I will be being lean and mean with the packing! I forgot about all the TSA rules so I am streamlining big time.

Good news, I got my DSLR back! YEA!  I am so excited.  I am sure to have loads of Aine spam!

bad bloggers R us

We have been so bad at the blogging let me tell ya! I fear I have horrid pictures of Aine's new favo toy because the DSLR is currently in the shop. Yes it has broken! Treated it with kid gloves and it just...broke! No joke! All my pictures are ruined from the very fun weekend I had & I fear I won't have a camera for siscon 2! Except my pinkie - which as you can see is not the best! I have been having fun figuring out Snow White - is Snowy aka the iMac! We just discovered garage band and have no clue how it works but man does it look fun. I am so excited about siscon! I can't wait! Remember, if you don't have cable like me-to rescan your digi box tomorrow at noon!! Hugs -nan

I have succumbed

To the dark side! I am now a proud owner of an iMac! Oh is this a sweeeeeet bday gift to moi. Infortunally no laptop for moi and that is okay! Pinkie the iPhone must suffice. Right now both are either being backed up or set up! Bad news I broke my DSLR! thank God it is under warrenty but it looks like I have to download new SW for my pictures on the mac so they can upload. Aine is so tired from a very fun weekend. She went to her first crop ever and pug village convention! Poor babe. Now how do I stop the mac from "thinking" - I keep on getting the spinny wheel. Hmmm. Ah me and the Aine will figure it out! My mom rocks!

Will you look at this cute card my mom made for my bday? I LOVE HER AINE DRAWING!

 Stick figure drawings on birthdays have been a huge tradition in my family and I adore it. My mom rarely bragged about her kids but when your bday came around? One's bday was announced on butcher block paper with a stick figure family holding banners high for all to see when coming into the main parts of my house. I have a feeling this card is going to be scrapped and stiched! *hugs to my mom*. Nan
