My thoughts: Kate looked amazing. Her dress and tiara were perfect. So wish I could have helped with the appliqué at the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace while they were making her lace for the dress. So loved her second dress too. Wills was fantastically attentive and caring. Adored the trees Abbey. I would have sworn Chuck &Di's & Fergie's weddings had their vows in the middle of the ceremony but loved the fact Kate & Wills started out their wedding with the vows. Loved the two kisses on the Balcony. Loved the fact the couple was seriously conscious of the economy right now. Princess Beatrice needs to stop wearing hats like she wore. Seriously. Stop.Now.Bea.
I think my favorite bit so far was Wills& Kate leaving the reception in Prince Charles's fabulously decorated Aston Martin taking them away & the kiddies. Here are some of my favorite pictures below. The vast majority are from fabulous official Royal Wedding Flickr Account. But also some are taken from The Daily Mail.
Huge side note of thanks before we get into the pictures. I am still shocked that I was interviewed two times(once on the April 28 & than again on the April 29 with a Canadian Vancouver Mayor and Village Town Crier!!) for BBC Radio. Hopefully I will be getting a link soon. Also still gobsmocked that my Needle Felted Engagement Ring made it CNN! Never ever thought any of my Needle Felted creations and Shoppe would make it to main stream media so soon in my crafty career. Who knew two hobbies- needle felting and being an Anglophile, would combine into this much publicity for little me. I am honored and humbled. Thank you BBC & CNN. That is why it is only right and fair that all proceeds of my ring go to Will & Kate's charities- I do not keep a dime. I picked the price range of $40 because I will be *gulp* 40 this year so since I will not be celebrating my birthday (now or ever again!) why not make it my age? I will be selling the pattern soon(still drawing it up) for all of those who want to make it. I intend to make that price range around $10.00- the age when I became an Anglophile, hook, line and sinker. I am so glad that you all found my blog & celebrated this very fun occasion with me! I also can't thank my family, friends, neighbors(lol), followers of this blog & twitter -new and old- enough for letting me go all Anglophile on them. It seriously has been fun! Please continue to follow me on my blog to see what Aine, my crafty life and my needle felting creations get up to. I promise it will be fun- I have a few surprises coming up that I am excited about. Thank you all - from the bottom of my heart and Aine's. *hug*
