Dreaming of donuts

And it is scary. For reals, I had a dream I wanted a second Starbucks old fashioned donuts. But so far- no donuts.

I am so liking the weight watchers mobile app.

Still learning it but it has some fun options- like recipes. They even have cookies that I am dying to try.

So far I am 6 points from my daily goal and I am not hungry which to me is so bizarre.

Lastly this little guy is so awesome!


Holds my health snacks and keeps them nice and cold! However .... I am still figuring out my veggies...

2012. Miracles do happen

Happy 2013 everyone.
As I was thinking about what to blog- because you know that I am such a good blogger-I couldn't help but think of how great 2012 has been.

Yes -there were some major bummers in 2012 but you know what? I had some mini miracles that really made all those bummers go on the wayside and gives me the encouragement to accomplish two huge goals for 2013.

What are those mini miracles? On the professional front-
-I left a job that I was at for 14 years.
-I found a job that I love and challenges me every day. Oh and I have a great boss.
-I have been recognized for what I do- I became a manager!
-I discovered that being nice is not a bad four letter word. That yes you can be a bad arse but you can be nice and professional about it.
On the creative front-
- I got published albeit not an ISBN # publication but still uber cool!
- yep I didn't get into Renegade but you know? That is okay- I did my first craft show and realized-i need help with these shows.
- I didn't craft enough.

Lastly- NIU MADE IT TO THE ORANGE BOWL!!

So what are my huge goals for 2013?
1. Pass the CPSM bridge exam
2. Lose 60 pounds.

So far #2 has been going good but when you have a broken coccyx you can not really sit, stand, walk or workout. I truly know what a pain in the arse is.

#1- Was going to study over the xmas vacation but I really wanted a vacation and since sitting is hard to do....however i want to get that bugger done asap so there you go.
