Yes - you heard that right.
I have decided to sell my Needle Felted Royal Wedding Pin Cushion Rings for charity - specifically the Royal Wedding Charity Fund.
It just fits and that is what I am so excited about. Sorry folks who have requested the pattern. :( I might create the pattern still and sell it for a nominal fee because I really like giving money to the Charity Fund. So, so sorry about that but you can imagine, this is for a very worthy cause(s)!
So here is the deal. All Royal Wedding Needle Felted Pin Cushion Rings will be made to order and the person purchasing them gets to pick out a charity of their chosing from the Royal Wedding Charity Fund. I have contacted the Fund to let them know what I am doing. My plan is to donate the $$ in the recipents name. Than you will get an email from Wills and Kate thanking them for your contribution! How cool is that? If you rather donate and than show me the email - I can do that too. But it has to be for the amount specified on the etsy link. Sorry, it must be for the $40.00 USD (or more) amount.
I really hope this works. More than happy to open up a seperate bank account so it is all legit. Here is a screenshot of the etsy entry! Please pass this around so we can raise money for The Royal Wedding Charity Fund! I have a feeling I will be REALLY busy. :) Hugs all and Thank you!

Oh MY! I believe I will be blogging a lot in the up coming days.... look at this! This Etch-a Sketch artist took 80 HOURS to complete it! Now that is a lot of work. He did a fantastic job.
I remember seeing something similiar on SKINS(UK version please!) and laughed my arse off... now this is clever. However, again. please do not give this to me!

Well my invites are out to my Royal Wedding Watching party for -4am - yes you hear that right. 4.a.m. I think it will just be me and Ms. Aine. lol I made it open so if any chi-towners want to come - please let me know - or I can skype you in and you can see the madness!
So to get us in the proper mood the official site is giving us loads of goodies.
The above are the Royal Air Force band that will be playing 4 times throughout the ceremony. VERY impressive. Also - did you know that Prince William invited his whole group to come to the wedding? And that the other search and rescue folks took turns to take over their spots? How lovely.
HORSE GUARDS! Seriously - When you go to London - you have to see the Changing of the Guard at Horse Guards, not Buck House. Seriously Buckingham Palace (Buck House) is not as impressive as the Horse Guards changing of the guard. At Horse Guards, you can get really close up to them too. SQUEE!

Yea!!!! I finally needle felted! As you know I love pin cushions so Kate's/Di's engagement ring just inspired me to finally make one for my finger. I really like finger pin cushions. I made a shamrock before but this one was way fun! I love how the glittery bits worked out well!!! *does happy dance* It is like I have my own personal (fake)Princess Di ring. lol
I just love this color! And yes this is one of my collectable tins -je adore.I.be.an.anglophile.
This is the height of recycling. I can't stand it when my finger gets stuck by pins. But this time I corrected that. Let me know if anyone wants the pattern on how to do this!
